The edges of the ribbon are sheer and in the centre there is a 15mm panel which we personalise with your choice of lettering in a complimentary colour - on the Ivory ribbon this can be done in gold or caramel (light brown) and on the lilac we recommend purple lettering it looks stunning
If this is for a wedding cake and you cannot think what lettering you would like on the ribbon here is a suggestion:
If you are having just a one tier cake I recommend the lettering be the Bride and Grooms name and date of the Wedding and a motif of wedding rings or heart
If you are having more than one tier the top tier can have the Bride and Grooms name and date of wedding (heart or wedding ring motif)
2nd Tier could have Love...Honour...Cherish repeated (with motif if required)
3rd Tier could have: To have and to hold from this day forth... repeated (with motif if required)
Note that your lettering will be repeated throughout your metre of ribbon i.e. clipart, Susan & Andrew - 14th August 2011 clipart then repeated
The ribbon is sold by the metre and you are purchasing one metre of ribbon here if you require 3 metres order 3 etc. IF YOU ARE UNSURE HOW MANY METERS YOU REQUIRE Please use the 'ask seller a question' box or call our office stating the size of the cakes and WHETHER THEY ARE ROUND OR SQUARE - for instance 10, 12, 14 inch square cakes
We can also make a personalised ribbon bow for the top of the cake this is listed separately
